CLUE EXPLANATIONS

The Introduction contains the phrases "organized labor," "faith and communion" and "love thy neighbor," as well as the word "union." These are meant to suggest searching for a location near a church that is connected to (and shared with) a neighboring town.
Clue #1 contains the phrases "a golden rule of equal rights," "grab your beers," "raise a treasure hunt toast," and "Lift up your mug," and the words "park," "chug," and "Prost!" These are meant to suggest searching at a park associated with beer that has a German name—specifically Seidl's Lake Park (a "seidl" is a type of Bavarian beer stein)—for a location in line with yellow trail signs marking left and right turns with arrows in a 90-degree angle.
Clue #2 (unpublished) suggests a location with a lake "Somewhere over the four-leaf clover" and "Just down the street from the chapel" where hunters can "take a big bite from the apple;" specifically, this is intended to suggest an area north of the 494-52 cloverleaf near a local church (in this case Bethesda Lutheran).
Clue #3 (unpublished) contains the phrases "spot a tower / From where our neighbors reside," "indication of declination," "Beyond the playground," and the words "bower" and "slide." These are meant to suggest hunters find a park with a view of the South St. Paul water tower, then move beyond the playground, past signs designating the park trail's grade—roughly in line with Bower Court. The word "slide" anagrams to "Seidl."
Clue #4 (unpublished) suggests hunters "Head north to south" (i.e. go north toward South St. Paul) to "twist sleek dials," instructing hunters find a meaningful anagram for "sleek dials" to reveal this hunt's location at Seidl's Lake—which was connected by trail to Inver Grove Heights just last year.
Clue #5 (unpublished) reveals the precise hiding spot in Seidl's Lake Park, in the "root" of a "red" "berry" bush "at the foot of an oak," wrapped in four hosta "leaves" and bundled with twine.
